Welcome! You may be asking yourself, “Who is therunningspeechie?” Well, surprise – it’s me! My name is Briana, and I live in beautiful Boston, MA. There are two things in life that I am especially passionate about: helping people communicate & RUNNING!
By day, I am a crazy speech-language pathologist working with deafblind children ages 3-22 and I LOVE it – on nights and weekends, I’m STILL crazy, but also a marathoner/fitness fanatic. Exercise and nutrition have been an integral part of my life since high school, but since moving to Boston in 2009, I’ve found a whole new love for running. In April 2011, I ran my first marathon by banditing Boston and was instantly hooked. Since then, marathons have become a major part of my life, and I’ve been known to run 3 or 4 in a season. My knees are going to kill me when I’m older (so people say
)! I have plenty of interests, so I intend to use this blog to chronicle my adventures of marathon running, share therapy ideas, collaborate, and present whatever is on my smorgasbord of a mind. Enjoy!!
